    After retiring, I had no expectation of what I was going to do. I wanted to move to Texas – but had no clear idea of how to get there. My Son and his family had moved to Maryland, left me to liquidate my property on my own. Marylin Paul and I met at a Mount Saint Mary’s (College)University alumni volunteer workshop. It was there that we discussed my retirement and moving to Texas – and ultimately the sale of my house. She gave me her business card with a follow-up meeting at my home. With a failing market at the time, Ms. Paul with perseverance and persistence outlined plans and a marketing strategy for the sale of my home. Homes in the surrounding community were selling at lower prices. While after much preparation and – her suggestions and referrals of painters, electricians and plumbers my property came together and in “move-in” ready condition for placement on the Market. In addition, during this same time, she handled (via long distance) the sale of my Family’s property (a single-story Craftsman-style home) – a transaction that involved major upgrades and repairs – But after one Open House secured a Seller immediately. My own home sold approximately 4 months later. Both my Son and I are satisfied with the results and selling expertise of Ms. Paul – the handling of our Real Estate properties. She was there to walk me through the entire Real Estate process – and fulfill my dream of home ownership in Texas.

    As an 85-year old widow, I found myself in need of a Real Estate agent to sell my Duplex, half of which had been extensively damaged by water. Referred by a church member, who was concerned that I was not only working with a real estate agent but also someone with experience working with Seniors.In this case a Senior transitioning from home ownership to Assisted Living. In my case it would be complicated — dealing with a house (and garages) filled with decades of accumulated possessions. Items that would have to be tactfully and thoughtfully removed, to fix-up and better show the property in order to maximize the net from sale. Marylin Paul proved to be the best and most appropriate Real Estate Agent for this process. She managed this task and its many unexpected challenges with both patience and persistence. Often, she provided contact with local Churches, Donation centers – along with the necessary Helpers/Workers who prepared, organized drop offs/pickups of large volumes of clothing and household items. In addition, introduced a “Consignment” Sales agent for the sale of unwanted furniture, appliances and other “valued” household items. All of which was completed in a timely manner. Marylin even secured movers to assist in my move into my lovely, new home. An apartment where I now live very comfortably and happily. At every stage, in every way, Marylin was reachable and never too busy to be fully-involved in my sale. In the end, we were able to sell my property for cash, at the price I was asking. Therefore I would not hesitate to refer Marylin Paul for any Real Estate transaction. In fact I highly recommend her as a Real Estate agent. I was facing a very difficult decision and process, at a particularly challenging stage in my life. It was however a pleasure to work with Marylin, someone who is very professional, personable, with the end result being profitable.
